The People's Court

Well, it appears we are about to attain one of our goals. We are soon to be laid-off and the royal visier has projected that we will receive some lovely parting gifts.
Now it's packing time. As life is full of humorous coincidences and ironies our county has deemed our street in need of maintenance. So we get to move the moving trailer... again. Then put it back after the road work is complete.
So we have reduced our existence to the simplest forms. Golf, poker, packing, food, bathing and sleep (not excluding other more obvious bodily functions).

The views expressed during this program and the excessive useage of the "Royal We" are not necessarily held or backed by the station managers, owners or subsidiaries thereof.

Sunny day, everything's A-OK!!

The buyer accepted our counter to the inspection and we are moving ahead!!
and...
It looks like I got the job I was hoping for as well. It should start in about 4 weeks.
and...
It's time for a little vacation; time to go camping with my wife and dog, time to pack, and of course time to golf.

Turning to sunshine

Well, so far so good with the house... houses. We are waiting for our appraisal of the new place to get scheduled by my lender. And we are waiting (yes you can start a sentence with "and") for the inspection to get scheduled on our Vantucky home. Fingers crossed for no trouble!!
I got a yob interview at the beach next week. I'm stoked. If I get that job I can keep my truck! I love my truck.

The Morning After

Well, we survived the massive and gratuitous displays of "independence" that bombarded our senses and our home. I'm sick of this place.

Gobblessamericka!!

Happy 3rd of July

It's Impotapenitence Day!!

Tomorrow is the world famous 4th of July party here in Vantucky. I plan on hiding my head 'neath the covers until the noises go away. I think it will be a good nite to rent some DVD's and have a movie-thon with my wife and furry child. Hell, maybe we'll take off tonight and head to the beach.
Damn dirty apes!!
